AC/DC Toronto concert cancelled after storm damage at Rogers Stadium Get refund details and venue safety updates from Live Nation and city officials
Live Nation says AC/DC’s Sept. 16 concert at Rogers Stadium in Toronto has been cancelled after a severe storm damaged the venue last week.
The company said engineers and city officials determined the stadium is not safe enough to host fans while repairs are needed. Live Nation said parts of the venue must be removed and rebuilt, and that safety for workers, fans, artists, and vendors remains the top priority.
Tickets bought through Ticketmaster will be refunded automatically, while resale ticket buyers are being told to contact their point of sale for refund details. Toronto officials had previously ordered Live Nation Canada to fix the unsafe building after inspecting the site.
