The Toronto Maple Leafs traded defenceman Brandon Carlo to the St. Louis Blues for two thirdround picks during the 2026 NHL Draft in Buffalo on Saturday.
Toronto received the 73rd and 76th selections in the deal and used them to add winger Zach Olsen and defenceman Mans Gudmundsson. Carlo, 29, had 10 assists in 75 regularseason games with Toronto and went scoreless in 10 playoff appearances.
The Leafs also used several other picks on Saturday, while the draft continued with notable selections across the league, including the Pittsburgh Penguins keeping twins Liam and Markus Ruck together and the Vancouver Canucks taking centre Brooks Rogowski at No. 33.
