Peel Regional Police major crimes investigators are looking into a shooting in Brampton that left a 21yearold man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said they were called to the area of Dixie Road and Lisa Street around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday after reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found the man injured and took him to a local trauma centre.
Authorities said the victim is in nonlifethreatening condition. By Thursday morning, police said the scene had been cleared, and no suspect details were released. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police.
