Meta expands Muse with new hardware and features at Connect 2026
Muse takes center stage as Meta expands its AI assistant across new devices See Charm, AI glasses, and partner integrations shaping the next Muse push
Meta used its Connect 2026 event to announce a broader push for Muse, its AI assistant, across new hardware and product experiences.
The company introduced Charm, a keychainstyle device that Mark Zuckerberg said will be the fastest way to talk to Muse. Meta also said Muse will be integrated into its AI glasses in the coming months, with the assistant able to respond to what users see and a private processing mode designed to keep even Meta out of the data path.
Meta additionally previewed Muse Realtime Avatar, which lets users animate the assistant with synchronized voice. The company said several major partners, including PayPal, Walmart, Shopify, GitHub, and Box, have joined the Muse ecosystem, while Amazon has moved to restrict access.
