Avalanche Teleporter v1.4 Improves Cross-Subnet Messaging
Avalanche Teleporter v1.4.0 improves cross-subnet messaging for subnets and L1s Adopt the upgrade to reduce friction and keep apps moving across chains
Ava Labs has released Avalanche Teleporter v1.4.0, an update to the network’s crosssubnet messaging system. The upgrade is designed to help Avalanche’s subnets and L1s communicate more smoothly, supporting developers who build applications across multiple chains.
The release comes as Avalanche continues to emphasize its multichain design. Crosssubnet messaging can help reduce fragmentation by making it easier to move information, assets, and application logic between different parts of the ecosystem.
Ava Labs said the update is available now, but subnet operators still need to adopt it for the new mechanics to take effect. That means rollout may happen at different speeds depending on each subnet’s governance and technical setup.
