A collision in La Tuque, Que., on Saturday evening left one motorcyclist dead after a pickup truck driven by an unlicensed teen struck him on Wabush Road.
Provincial police said the motorcyclist, believed to be in his 40s, was taken to hospital in critical condition and later died. The two people in the pickup truck were not injured, though police said they were shaken by the crash.
Sûreté du Québec said the driver was questioned but could not be detained. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the collision, and a reconstruction specialist was sent to the scene to examine what happened.
