Charges expected after car crashes into London gym, injuring seven

Police in London, Ontario say seven women were taken to hospital after a car drove through a brick wall and into a GoodLife Fitness at Sherwood Forest Mall on Friday morning. The crash happened around 7:40 a.m. near Wonderland and Gainsborough roads. Investigators said emergency crews carried out lifesaving measures at the scene, and two people remained in critical condition, including one person who had been pinned under the vehicle. London police said the case is still under investigation, but charges are expected. GoodLife Fitness said the gym will remain closed until further notice, and London Health Sciences Centre briefly activated a Code Orange because of the incident.
