Summerlicious returns to Toronto with more than 230 restaurants
Summerlicious Toronto returns with discounted prix fixe menus at 230+ restaurants Book ahead for lunch, dinner deals and diverse cuisines from July 3 to 18
Toronto’s Summerlicious dining program has returned from July 3 to 18, offering discounted threecourse lunch and dinner menus at more than 230 restaurants across the city.
The city says the annual event is meant to help local restaurants during slower periods while giving residents and visitors a chance to try a range of cuisines. Lunch menus are priced from $20 to $55, and dinner menus from $25 to $75. More than 30 restaurants are taking part for the first time this year.
Mayor Olivia Chow launched the program at Pii Nong Thai and encouraged people to book ahead. The city also said nearly threequarters of participating restaurants offer vegetarian menus, and almost half have glutenfree options. Since its launch in 2003, Summerlicious has served more than 8 million meals and generated over $353 million in economic activity for Toronto restaurants.
