Vancouver homicide investigation after a man died at CRAB Park in the Downtown Eastside Police seek witnesses from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning to help identify suspects
Vancouver police are investigating the city’s sixth homicide of 2026 after a man died at CRAB Park in the Downtown Eastside on Wednesday morning.
Police said officers were called to the park after a report of a man in medical distress. Emergency responders treated him at the scene, but he died there.
Investigators have not released the victim’s identity and said no suspects have been identified. Police are asking anyone who was in the area between Tuesday night and Wednesday before 7 a.m. to contact them with information.
