Peel Regional Police say they will soon release the results of an investigation known as Project Icarus involving a former airline captain.
Police allege the pilot flew hundreds of flights without the required licence, and describe the case as a complex fraud. Officials did not share further details on Monday.
Regional police leaders, including Peel Police Service Board Chair Nando Iannicca, Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich and Acting Det.Sgt. Chad Michell, are scheduled to speak at a news conference Tuesday morning in Ontario.
