The Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Hamilton TigerCats 387 in Regina on Sunday after taking control with a strong second half.
Saskatchewan led 117 at halftime, then scored 27 unanswered points as its defence forced four turnovers, including a 107yard interception return for a touchdown by Josh Woods. Marcus Sayles also recovered a fumble and returned it to the Hamilton oneyard line, helping set up another touchdown.
Trevor Harris passed for 211 yards and two touchdowns in his 200th CFL game, while Tommy Stevens added two rushing touchdowns. The win moved Saskatchewan to 41 and kept it tied with the Edmonton Elks atop the West Division. Hamilton fell to 23 and was playing without injured starting quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell.
