A 46yearold Ontario man has been arrested and charged with two counts of firstdegree murder after his parents were found dead in Mississauga earlier this month.
Peel Regional Police said Jordan Sangwin was taken into custody on Saturday in Etobicoke after a tip from the public led Toronto police to a makeshift shelter near Mimico Creek Park. Police said he was wanted on a Canadawide warrant.
Officers were called to a home near Hurontario Street and Lakeshore Road East on June 18 after reports of an assault. Two people, ages 70 and 71, were found with lifethreatening injuries and later died. Police said Sangwin did not appear to live with them.
