Chinese humanoid startups rush toward IPOs
Chinese humanoid robotics startups are racing toward IPOs as funding surges Discover how LimX Dynamics and China’s embodied AI boom are reshaping the market
Chinese humanoid robotics startups are moving quickly to seek public listings as investor interest in the sector grows.
LimX Dynamics said it raised $200 million in a preIPO round, valuing the company at 15 billion yuan, or about $2.21 billion. Founder Will Zhang said the company believes going public is now important as the technology matures.
The Shenzhenbased startup is reportedly preparing for an IPO, likely in Hong Kong, while also expanding commercial plans overseas. China’s broader humanoid robotics industry has seen a sharp increase in funding in recent months, alongside support for “embodied AI” from national policy priorities.
