Ukraine launches more than 400 drones near Moscow
Ukraine drone attack targets Moscow fuel sites and logistics, officials say See how the strike hit storage hubs, sparked fires, and escalated the war
Ukraine carried out one of its largest drone attacks of the war overnight, targeting the Moscow region and striking sites linked to fuel storage and logistics, according to Ukrainian and Russian officials.
Moscow officials said more than 400 drones were launched toward the region, while Russia said it intercepted hundreds across several areas. Authorities reported injuries and fires, including damage near a residential building and an industrial park close to a major airport.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the strikes hit logistics facilities and an oil depot far from Ukraine’s border. The attack came after a major Russian missile barrage on Kyiv and other Ukrainian targets, underscoring the continued escalation in the war.
