Toronto waterfront shuttle pilot sets $15 fare
Toronto waterfront shuttle pilot launches Friday with $15 rides on Lake Ontario. See three stops and daily service through September, with more boats if needed.
Toronto’s new waterfront shuttle pilot is set to begin Friday on Lake Ontario, with each ride priced at $15.
The service is being run by York Bay Marine Services under an agreement with Waterfront Toronto, the city of Toronto and the Toronto Port Authority. It will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through September.
The shuttle will make three stops: Ookwemin Minising in the Port Lands, Yonge Street Slip, and Portland Slip near Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Operators say the boat can run every 30 minutes if extra vessels are added.
