Merck raises revenue outlook after stronger new drug sales
Merck boosts 2026 revenue forecast after strong Q2 sales from Keytruda and new drugs See how newer products and animal health drove results despite lower profit outlook
Merck said Tuesday that it beat secondquarter expectations and increased its 2026 revenue forecast, helped by stronger sales from newer products.
The company now expects 2026 revenue of $66.3 billion to $67.3 billion, up from a prior range of $65.8 billion to $67 billion. Merck also lowered its adjusted profit outlook after recording charges tied to acquisitions, including Terns Pharmaceuticals and Cidara Therapeutics.
For the second quarter, Merck reported revenue of $16.61 billion, up 5% from a year earlier and above analyst estimates. Keytruda sales reached $8.37 billion, while Winrevair and Capvaxive also posted notable growth. Merck said its animal health division also performed above expectations.
