Toronto's FIFA Fan Festival will open later on Sunday after organizers delayed the start because of a risk of thunderstorms and poor weather.
The festival, originally set to begin at 1:30 p.m., is now scheduled to open at 3 p.m. FIFA World Cup 26 Toronto said the change was made to prioritize safety, and updates will be shared on social media.
The revised schedule also affects some performances, including French Montana at 6:15 p.m. and Murda Beatz at 9:00 p.m. A drumming performance by Nagata Schachu has been postponed without a new time listed. Environment Canada is forecasting rain and possible thunderstorms through the morning and into the afternoon, with conditions expected to improve later in the day.
