Christian Eriksen collapses during Denmark-Ukraine friendly

Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch during a friendly match against Ukraine on Sunday, according to the Danish Football Federation. Officials said he was conscious and doing well under the circumstances, and the match was stopped. The incident happened about 20 minutes into the second half in Odense, Denmark. Players from both teams surrounded Eriksen while medical staff treated him, and he later walked to an ambulance. It was the second time Eriksen has collapsed during a match for Denmark. He previously suffered a collapse at Euro 2021, after which he received emergency treatment and later returned to professional football.
