Trump picks Bill Pulte to lead intelligence office

The move has drawn criticism from lawmakers and former officials who say he lacks the experience normally expected for the post. Trump allies said Pulte will help carry out the administration’s goals, including efforts to shrink the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The White House has not said whether Trump is considering him for the role permanently.
