Former Chief Dylan Whiteduck Stabbed in Maniwaki

Dylan Whiteduck, the former chief of Kitigan Zibi Anishinâbeg, was injured in a stabbing incident in Maniwaki, Quebec, early Saturday morning. According to reports, he was attacked by a sharp object near rue Cartier, around 130 kilometers north of Ottawa. Emergency services took Whiteduck to the hospital, but thankfully, his injuries are not considered lifethreatening.
