Shuanghuan gearbox gains as humanoid robotics moves toward commercialization Tesla co-development and IPO plans may boost growth—see why analysts are bullish
Analysts are taking a closer look at Shuanghuan, a Chinese gearbox supplier, as interest in humanoid robotics moves from concept to commercialization. Deutsche Bank said Tesla has been codeveloping a gearbox, or reducer, with the company for humanoid robots, and expects the component could be used in waist joints.
The report said Shuanghuan's robotics subsidiary, Fine Motion, is preparing for an IPO while remaining under the parent company's control. The unit made up about 5% of Shuanghuan's revenue and net profit in 2025, according to the analysts.
Other firms also expressed optimism. Bernstein said Shuanghuan could benefit as Chinese automakers expand into humanoid robotics, while UBS and Morgan Stanley pointed to its manufacturing scale and component expertise. The analysts highlighted growing demand from both Chinese and U.S. robotics markets, along with the importance of reliable, massproduced parts.
