Google launches Fairwind Program for cyber defense partners
Google Fairwind Program helps teams find and patch vulnerabilities faster with AI Access advanced cybersecurity tools in secure cloud environments—see what’s inside
Google has launched the Fairwind Program, a limitedaccess initiative for governments, Google Cloud customers, and trusted cybersecurity partners. The company says the program is designed to help defenders use its most advanced AI tools to identify and fix security vulnerabilities more quickly.
The first phase gives participating organizations access to Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber and Google’s CodeMender harness. Google says the tools can help teams find, verify, and generate deploymentready patches for vulnerabilities inside secure cloud environments, reducing the time needed for manual remediation.
Google says more than 650 partners are involved globally. The company also says access will be restricted to internal security, incident response, and penetration testing teams, with additional controls such as multifactor authentication. Google framed the program as part of a broader effort to strengthen cyber resilience for public services, critical infrastructure, and the wider digital ecosystem.
