U.S.-Iran deal faces uncertainty as Israel strikes Lebanon

According to the report, the Israel Defense Forces said it struck a Hezbollah command center in Beirut after the group launched attacks targeting Israeli civilians and soldiers in southern Lebanon. The exchange has raised doubts about whether the deal can move forward as planned. President Donald Trump said the agreement was expected to be signed on Sunday and urged all sides not to derail the process. U.S. officials, including Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, said they still believed the deal remained on track, while Iranian officials warned that the Israeli strikes could complicate negotiations.
