2 dead, 3 injured in Highway 401 crash in Mississauga
Highway 401 crash in Mississauga left two dead and three hospitalized Police are investigating; witness and dashcam tips could help explain what happened
Two people were killed and three others were sent to hospital after a multivehicle collision on Highway 401 in Mississauga, Ont., on Wednesday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police said they were called to the eastbound express lanes near Dixie Road around 9 a.m. The crash involved two passenger vehicles and happened while traffic was moving slowly.
Police closed the eastbound express lanes at Mississauga Road as they investigated the scene. Officers are asking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact them.
