Adarius Pickett powers Toronto Argonauts defense with league-leading tackles and plays Argos eye first place as Pickett fuels playoff push against B.C. Lions Saturday

Toronto Argonauts linebacker Adarius Pickett is having another strong CFL season, leading the league in several defensive categories and helping drive one of the team’s best defensive units. Pickett, who previously played in Toronto in 2023, leads the CFL in defensive tackles, total tackles, and defensive plays. He has also added sacks, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, and tackles for loss. His return to Toronto has reunited him with defensive coordinator Greg Quick, who coached him earlier in his career. The Argos host the B.C. Lions on Saturday with a home playoff game already secured. Toronto is still in the mix for first place in the East Division, while Pickett says his focus is on team success rather than individual awards.
