Fab Morvan drops out of Washington, D.C. anniversary concerts

Milli Vanilli singer Fab Morvan has withdrawn from the Freedom 250 anniversary concerts planned for Washington, D.C. He said he was surprised by how the event unfolded and no longer felt it matched what he agreed to join. Morvan said the situation became increasingly chaotic after several other performers also pulled out. Nine acts were originally scheduled, but only Vanilla Ice and Flo Rida now remain among the betterknown names still listed. The concerts are part of the U.S. 250thanniversary celebrations set for late June and early July on the National Mall. Some artists have said they were concerned about the political tone surrounding the event, while others, including Vanilla Ice, have defended their participation as nonpolitical.
