Woman dies after stabbing at North York building

Toronto police say a woman has died after a stabbing at a residential building in North York on Saturday afternoon.
Officers were called to the area of Fairview Mall Drive and Don Mills Road shortly after 2:30 p.m. for reports of a person with a knife. Police said they found the woman inside the building with stab wounds, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the suspect, described as a man, left before police arrived and is still at large. The homicide unit is now leading the investigation, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
