Stocks making the biggest midday moves: Super Micro, Cracker Barrel, Robinhood, truckers

U.S. stocks and several major sector names moved sharply in midday trading on Wednesday as investors reacted to company guidance, earnings results, analyst actions, and new business developments.
Trucking stocks fell after Amazon said it would open its lessthantruckload shipping services to companies outside its own network, which could increase competition for established freight carriers. FedEx Freight Holding and Old Dominion Freight Line each dropped about 5%, while XPO, Saia, and ArcBest also declined. Amazon shares slipped 2%.
Super Micro Computer fell 18% after announcing plans to raise $7 billion through equity and equitylinked securities to help fund hardware purchases. Semiconductor stocks also weakened, with Micron, AMD, and Broadcom all lower.
Several companies posted gains after positive updates. Devon Energy rose more than 6% after Evercore ISI upgraded the stock. Cracker Barrel jumped 24% after lifting its fullyear revenue and adjusted EBITDA outlook and reporting betterthanexpected quarterly results. Casey’s General Stores climbed 14% after strongerthanexpected fourthquarter results.
Robinhood Markets gained 5% after reporting a monthly rise in platform assets and saying it received regulatory approval to act as an underwriter for initial public offerings. Oscar Health rose after a Barclays upgrade, Cava advanced following a UBS upgrade, and BILL Holdings fell to a 52week low after a Truist downgrade. Gold miners also declined as gold futures weakened.
