Consignaction is a little more than two years into its effort to modernize recycling operations, with a major change this year involving the removal of many bottle deposit machines from some grocery stores as part of the transition.
The organization says its longterm goal is to recover 90% of beverage containers by 2032. Vicepresident of strategy JeanFrancois Lefort spoke with guest host Douglas Gelevan to discuss how the program is progressing so far and what the changes mean for the system.
