S&P Global leads Kaiko's $110 million Series B round

Kaiko Series B funding boosts crypto market data and tokenized asset infrastructure Backed by S&P Global and major banks, Kaiko expands faster into onchain finance

S&P Global has led a strategic investment in Kaiko, bringing the crypto market data provider’s Series B total to $110 million. The Parisbased company said the funding will support its market data business and expansion into onchain infrastructure for tokenized assets. The round included BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, Broadridge, Canton Foundation, Coinbase Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Nasdaq Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada, Stellar, and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments. Kaiko said the investors will also take part in an industry group focused on data and infrastructure for tokenized financial products. Kaiko has been expanding its institutional business through acquisitions and partnerships, including purchases of Cometh and Amberdata and an earlier collaboration with Bloomberg. The announcement comes as major financial firms and market operators continue testing blockchainbased systems for trading, settlement, and tokenized securities.
