Polymarket annualized revenue tops $1 billion after U.S. exchange launch
Polymarket revenue tops $1B as U.S. trading surges after exchange launch See how CFTC oversight and record volume are fueling the platform’s rapid growth
Prediction market platform Polymarket said its annualized revenue has risen above $1 billion, according to a Friday report from CNBC. The company’s growth comes about six weeks after it opened access to its U.S. exchange.
The U.S. platform has seen trading activity increase sharply, with daily volume rising from about $50 million in midMay to more than $200 million on June 20, according to Dune Analytics data cited in the report. Polymarket’s international platform has also seen record weekly volume during the FIFA World Cup.
Polymarket operates a U.S. exchange separately from its decentralized international platform. The company previously faced U.S. regulatory issues, but its exchange now runs under CFTC oversight.
