OpenAI and Oracle expand access to models through OCI commitments
OpenAI Oracle partnership brings OCI customers access to OpenAI models and Codex Use Oracle Universal Credits to adopt AI faster through existing enterprise workflows
OpenAI and Oracle have announced a partnership that will let Oracle Cloud Infrastructure customers access OpenAI models and Codex through their existing cloud commitments.
Beginning in the coming weeks, eligible Oracle Universal Credits can be applied toward OpenAI services under OCI. The companies say this is meant to fit into existing enterprise procurement and governance processes, giving organizations a simpler path to adopt AI without creating a separate purchasing workflow.
The announcement focuses on enterprise use cases such as building AI applications, analyzing information, automating work, and supporting customer and employee experiences. Availability will roll out in the coming weeks, and Oracle customers are being directed to contact their sales representative for more details.
