Google launches Google Pics for Workspace image creation and editing

Google Pics brings AI image creation and editing to Workspace users now Generate, edit, and refine visuals in Docs, Slides, and Drive with ease

Google has introduced Google Pics, a new AIpowered image creation and editing tool for Google Workspace users. The rollout begins over the coming weeks for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, as well as most Workspace business customers. Built on Google’s Nano Banana image model, Pics is designed for generating new visuals and making detailed edits without starting from scratch. The tool supports tasks such as isolating objects, changing text within images, translating text, and creating multiple versions from a single prompt. Google says Pics will work as a standalone product and will also be integrated into Workspace apps, starting with Docs, Slides, and Drive. The company says the goal is to let people create and refine visuals directly in the apps where they already work.
