Canada Post warns of minor World Cup mail delays in Toronto and Vancouver

Canada Post says residents and businesses in parts of Toronto and Vancouver should expect small mail disruptions during the FIFA World Cup, which runs from June 11 to July 19. In Toronto, delays are expected near Exhibition Place and the fan festival areas, including postal codes M6K, M6J and M5V. Some nearby post offices may see temporary processing delays on match days, and mail that cannot be delivered will be held for the next business day. In Vancouver, the postal service said it will clear and seal some mailboxes before match days near BC Place and the fan festival, but it does not expect service interruptions for postal codes starting with V6A, V6B and V6Z. Commercial customers in those areas are not expected to be affected.
