Australian Payments Plus expands use of ChatGPT and Codex
AP+ adopts ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex for faster payments work Boost speed in ops, engineering, and compliance with human-led AI
Australian Payments Plus (AP+) is using ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to help employees work through complex payments, technical, and regulatory tasks more efficiently. The company, which supports payments and identity infrastructure across Australia, says the tools are being used across functions such as operations, engineering, product development, cybersecurity, and member support.
AP+ says ChatGPT helps staff summarize dense material, draft communications, and turn meeting notes or workshop inputs into structured documents faster. In technical work, Codex is being used to investigate issues in payment systems, including tracing a reconciliation inconsistency that previously took days of manual review and was reduced to minutes.
The company says AI is also helping teams test product ideas earlier by building more realistic simulations of payment journeys and authentication flows. AP+ reports broad internal adoption, including more than 300 custom GPTs and more than 1,000 Projects, while emphasizing that human review remains central to risk, validation, and decisionmaking.
