New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is set to meet President Donald Trump at Gracie Mansion on Monday to discuss issues affecting the city and its residents, according to the mayor's office.
The meeting will take place as New York prepares to host world leaders for the United Nations General Assembly and as the final weeks of the November midterm campaign approach. It will be the third inperson meeting between Trump and Mamdani since Mamdani took office.
Their earlier meetings included a November 2025 Oval Office visit after Mamdani’s election and another at the White House in February. In those talks, they discussed housing, affordability, and other city concerns despite political differences.
