York police are investigating a suspicious fire that broke out early Friday morning in the driveway of a Richmond Hill home near Bathurst Street and Regent Street.
Emergency crews responded around 2 a.m. and found the fire contained to the driveway area. Two vehicles were damaged, but the home itself was not affected.
Police said the residents evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. Investigators are expected to review video and other evidence from the area as they look into the cause of the fire.
