Son HeungMin made an immediate impact in his first MLS AllStar Game, scoring two goals in the first half against the Liga MX AllStars on Wednesday in Charlotte.
The LAFC forward equalized in the 20th minute and then struck again a few minutes later, both times finishing chances created by Carles Gil. The second goal gave MLS a 21 lead.
HeungMin was later substituted in the 34th minute after a hydration break. After the match, he said he enjoyed playing with toplevel teammates and described the experience as pure joy.
