Penguins add Pridham to front office

The Pittsburgh Penguins have hired Brandon Pridham as a hockey operations consultant, bringing him back together with president of hockey operations and general manager Kyle Dubas. The team said Wednesday that Pridham will help with player contract negotiations and salary cap management. He spent the past 12 years with the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he had served as assistant general manager since 2018. Pridham, 52, is from Stouffville, Ontario, and previously worked for 15 years in the NHL's league office. His move follows recent changes in Toronto's front office, where he was among several staff members let go under new general manager John Chayka.
