Kawhi Leonard signs a $115M Raptors extension, adding star power to Toronto See the contract details, player option, and what it means for the Raptors
Kawhi Leonard has reportedly signed a twoyear, $115 million US contract extension with the Toronto Raptors, according to multiple media reports Tuesday.
The deal includes a player option for the 202829 season and comes in below the maximum amount Leonard was eligible to receive. ESPN first reported the extension details, citing Leonard's agent Harrison Gaines, who also confirmed the agreement to CBC Sports.
The extension will begin after Leonard completes his current threeyear, $149.5 million contract this season. Leonard returned to Toronto in a trade agreed to in June and finalized earlier this month after an NBA review into salarycap circumvention by the Clippers.
