The City of Toronto is accepting applications for thousands of election jobs ahead of the municipal vote on Oct. 26.
According to a city news release, applicants must be at least 18 and legally allowed to work in Canada. The city says it will try to place successful candidates at voting locations close to their homes.
Officials say the jobs are intended to support a fair, open, accessible and secure election while also giving workers experience in customer service, teamwork, leadership and problemsolving.
