Stocks move premarket as Lululemon, Micron, ServiceTitan fall and rise
U.S. stock futures mixed as earnings misses and chip weakness pressure markets Watch Lululemon, Micron, and crypto stocks while winners lift sentiment
U.S. stock futures were mixed in premarket trading on Friday as investors reacted to a fresh batch of corporate updates and continued pressure on chiprelated shares.
Lululemon Athletica fell sharply after cutting its fullyear earnings and revenue outlook, while DocuSign declined after its forecast came in roughly in line with expectations but failed to impress investors. Several semiconductor names also moved lower after the prior day’s selloff, with Micron, Lam Research, Seagate, and Sandisk among the companies under pressure.
Some stocks rose on betterthanexpected results or improved guidance. Cooper Companies gained after reporting quarterly earnings and revenue above analyst estimates, Argan advanced after stronger firstquarter results, and ServiceTitan jumped after raising its fullyear outlook. Chipotle also edged higher following an upgrade from JPMorgan. Cryptolinked shares slipped as bitcoin fell further, with Strategy, Coinbase, and Robinhood all lower.
