SpaceX targets fixed $135 IPO price at $1.75 trillion valuation

SpaceX IPO to price at $135 a share, valuing the company near $1.75 trillion. Debut on Nasdaq June 12 as investors watch the $75 billion offering closely.

SpaceX plans to market its initial public offering at a fixed price of $135 per share, according to a person familiar with the matter. The pricing would imply a valuation of about $1.75 trillion if related transactions close, CNBC reported. The company is expected to sell 555.6 million shares, which would make the offering roughly $75 billion in size. That would place SpaceX among the largest U.S. companies by market value, ahead of Tesla, which is currently valued at about $1.6 trillion. SpaceX is aiming to debut on the Nasdaq on June 12. The filing comes as the company moves through the IPO process after disclosing billions in losses and setting aside up to 5% of shares for certain employees and other eligible participants.
