Trump at the U.N.: U.S. power, AI edge, and pressure on Iran See why his Greenland and Iran moves could reshape global security

President Donald Trump used his address to the U.N. General Assembly in New York on Tuesday to present the United States as economically, militarily and technologically stronger, while pressing his administration’s positions on Iran, Cuba and Greenland. Trump said the U.S. is leading in artificial intelligence and argued that Washington should keep that advantage over China and other rivals. He also called for countries to help isolate Iran economically, saying U.S. military action had helped block Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. The president also criticized the International Maritime Organization’s climaterelated shipping proposal, said there would be no global taxes under his presidency, and pointed to a new U.S.DenmarkGreenland security agreement that would limit adversary access to Greenland.
