Stocks move in premarket trading on earnings and upgrades
Premarket movers: Vertiv, Sirius, Dell and more react to earnings and ratings See which stocks climbed or slipped before the bell and why investors are watching
Several companies moved sharply before the opening bell on Wednesday as investors reacted to earnings results, analyst ratings, and outlook updates.
Vertiv slipped slightly after announcing a $1.45 billion acquisition of UtilityInnovation Group, a deal meant to help data centers secure power more quickly. Sirius rose after Deutsche Bank upgraded the stock to buy. Dell gained after topping estimates and raising its fiscal 2027 forecast, supported by strength in its AI services business.
Other movers included Palo Alto Networks, which fell despite strongerthanexpected earnings, MongoDB, which dropped even after beating estimates and issuing upbeat guidance, and Credo Technology, which declined after a slight miss on gross margin.
