The trial of Luciano Frattolin, a Montreal man accused of killing his nineyearold daughter during a trip to New York last summer, is continuing today.
Frattolin faces charges of seconddegree murder and concealing a human corpse in the death of Melina Frattolin, who lived in Montreal. He has pleaded not guilty and has remained in custody without bail since his arrest in July 2025.
The jury has already heard from investigators who disputed Frattolin’s account that his daughter was abducted. Prosecutors have also described more details about how Melina’s body was found in a wooded area near Ticonderoga, New York.
