Wyoming adds Chainlink reserve verification to state stablecoin

Wyoming FRNT reserve verification with Chainlink for near-real-time backing data See onchain proof, tighter mint controls, and daily transparency now

Wyoming has expanded its use of Chainlink to provide nearrealtime reserve verification for its stateissued Frontier Stable Token, known as FRNT. The update is designed to give the public more timely visibility into the token’s backing and supply. The Wyoming Stable Token Commission said it will use Chainlink Proof of Reserve alongside independent checks by The Network Firm to publish reserve and supply data onchain. The state already releases daily attestations, while federal rules under the GENIUS Act require monthly disclosures. Officials also plan to adopt Chainlink’s Secure Mint feature, which would stop new FRNT from being minted unless verified reserves are equal to or greater than the token supply. FRNT, launched in January, is backed by US dollars and shortterm US Treasurys, and the income from those reserves goes to Wyoming’s School Foundation Program. The move follows Wyoming’s recent migration of FRNT from LayerZero to Chainlink’s CCIP, making Chainlink the token’s sole crosschain infrastructure. Chainlink has also added recent integrations across tokenized assets, stablecoin settlement, and market infrastructure.
