Vancouver Pokémon card theft investigation after a Dunbar break-in hit Royal Card Shop. See how police are tracking suspects with video, truck evidence and public tips.
Vancouver police are investigating a breakin at a collectibles store on Dunbar Street after highvalue Pokémon cards were stolen early Monday morning.
Police said officers were called to Royal Card Shop and Collectibles at 2:58 a.m. and found the rear door forced open. Investigators believe suspects removed a safe containing the cards by using a stolen truck and ropes.
Surveillance video shows two masked suspects at the scene. The stolen truck was later found abandoned and still running in Surrey, and police have taken it to their property garage for forensic analysis. Police are asking anyone with dashcam or security footage from the area to contact their property crime tip line.
