Investigators have been sent to Boston Bar, British Columbia, after several fires broke out in the Fraser Canyon community in the early hours of Sept. 22. Officials said no one was injured.
The Hope Fire Department said the incident began as a reported structure fire, but crews soon found multiple fire scenes, including building fires, a bush fire and a separate blaze involving railtie materials. Firefighters worked for more than 10 hours to contain and extinguish the fires.
The Fraser Valley Regional District has not said how many fires were involved or whether arson is suspected. The fire scenes remain under active investigation, and residents have been told to follow official updates.
