Robinhood takes stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com in prediction markets deal
Robinhood prediction markets expand with Crypto.com and OG.com equity stakes See how the new partnership routes event contracts for eligible US users
Robinhood has agreed to take equity stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com as part of a multiyear partnership tied to its prediction markets business.
The brokerage will route retail event contracts through OG.com’s Commodity Futures Trading Commissionregulated exchange and clearinghouse, with the rollout starting Tuesday for eligible US customers. The companies did not disclose the size or value of Robinhood’s holdings.
The deal follows OG.com’s spinoff from Crypto.com at a $5 billion valuation. Robinhood said the move expands its prediction markets infrastructure, which it first launched in March 2025 and has since grown into a meaningful revenue source. The article also notes that the sector continues to face legal challenges in several US states over whether event contracts should be treated as betting products.
